	Throughout the year, we feature a variety of special events. I would like to invite you to join us for a special evening at EMBER. On Wednesday February 17th, Chef George Willette will prepare a unique menu to accompany a selection of fine Tuscan wines from the three vineyards of Lionello Marchese; Castello di Monastero, Col di Sole, and Poggio alle Sughere. Lionello Marchese grew up in post war Italy. At age eleven, he left school to take his first full time job at a local bakery, where in exchange for working a twelve hour shift, he was paid a Kilo of white bread that would help to feed his family. From that humble start, Lionello went on to achieve unimaginable success. His numerous accomplishments include the invention and patenting of your car's retractable seat belt, and the perfection of the powered automotive sunroof. Along the way, his passion for wine has led him to assemble this trio of outstanding wineries. Lionello is seldom in Massachusetts, so this will be a rare opportunity to share an evening with one of Tuscany's most interesting characters, and enjoy this fabulous marriage of Food and Wine. Guests are invited to arrive that evening for an informal reception at 6:30pm. A five course dinner will begin promptly at 7:00pm. We encourage you to make your reservations early, since seating is limited, and this event will surely be sell out. The cost is $75.00 per person (tax and gratuity additional) Presently, George is still in the process if finalizing and sourcing ingredients for the evening's meal.
